Minerals Species: Elbaite Tourmaline.
Location of mineral deposit: Nuristan, Laghman Province, Afghanistan.
Description: Transparent green-blue elbaite tourmaline crystal with white albite matrix attached. this specimen fools everyone - they think it is aquamarine beryl. But it is a pseudo-hexagonal elbaite tourmaline, the tip off being the secondary termination faces. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 30x20x12 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 30 mm.
Price: $600 net (plus shipping).
