Minerals Species: Topaz with internal phantom.
Location of mineral deposit: Shigar valley, north of Skardu, Gilgit, Pakistan.
Description: High quality sherry-colored topaz crystal with flat pinacoid termination with large triangular {011} faces. Internally the topaz has a phantom zone of minute bubbles that follows the shape of the termination. Large portions of this crystal are flawless. No damage is visible to the unaided eye, minute edge chipping is visible under 20x magnification.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 28x15x15 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 28 mm.
Price: $400 net (plus shipping).
