Minerals Species: Beryl var. Aquamarine.
Location of mineral deposit: Skardu District, Baltistan, Pakistan.
Description: Three interconnected transparent aquamarine beryl crystals with glassy crystal faces and unusual internal phantom zone composed of microscopic hollow tubes or bubbles where crystal growth was interrupted. Currently mounted on an acrylic base for display. No damage to the crystals on the front of the specimen, but the rear shows minor damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 38x14x13 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 20-38 mm.
Price: $175 (plus shipping).
