Minerals Species: Beryl var. Aquamarine.
Location of mineral deposit: Skardu District, Baltistan, Pakistan.
Description: Transparent single aquamarine beryl crystal with glassy crystal faces, flat pinacoid termination and unusual internal phantom zone composed of microscopic hollow tubes or bubbles where crystal growth was interrupted. Though the crystals are clean and in good condition, a few edges show minute nicks upon close inspection, but they are minor compared to the relative size of the specimen.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 45x17x10 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 45 mm.
Price: $175 (plus shipping).
