Minerals Species: Beryl var. Emerald on Calcite.
Location of mineral deposit: La Pita Mine, Vasquez-Yacopi District, Colombia.
Description: Gemmy green hexagonal emerald crystal (the green gem variety of beryl) in milky calcite matrix. The emerald crystal has good color and clarity. No damage is visible to the unaided eye, minute edge chipping is visible under 20x magnification.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 23x21x20 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 11 mm.
Price: $575 net (plus shipping).
