Minerals Species: Beryl var. Emerald on Calcite.
Location of mineral deposit: La Pita Mine, Vasquez-Yacopi District, Colombia.
Description: Three gemmy medium-green hexagonal emerald crystals (the green gem variety of beryl) in milky calcite matrix. The emerald crystals have good clarity, but the color is not as rich as some of the other emeralds I have. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 29x19x12 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 7-13 mm.
Price: $525 net (plus shipping).
