Minerals Species: Rhodochrosite with Chalcopyrite.
Location of mineral deposit: Sunnyside Mine, near Silverton, San Juan County, Colorado.
Description: Translucent rhombohedral pink rhodochrosite crystals up to 2 mm long with yellow metallic chalcopyrite crystals up to 1 mm long in one corner. The rhodochrosite has excellent color for this old locality. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 4x3x2 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 0.5-2.0 mm.
Price: $110 (plus shipping).
