Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 40373:

Minerals Species: Fluorite with Sphalerite.
Location of mineral deposit: Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Smith County, Tennessee.
Description: Large cubic fluorite crystal 10 cm across with pale purple color and surfaces composed of smaller, parallel, cubic crystal faces. One corners has brown sphalerite matrix attached. An old specimen from this famous mine that is no longer producing. Though the crystals are clean and in good condition, a few edges show minute nicks upon close inspection, but they are minor compared to the relative size of the specimen.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 13x10x7 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-10 cm.
Price: $150 (plus shipping).
