Minerals Species: Manganite* with Barite. (*From the TYPE LOCALITY where this mineral was first described.)
Location of mineral deposit: Ilfeld, Nordhausen, Harz Mountains, Thuringia, Germany.
Description: Lustrous dark metallic manganite crystals up to 12 mm long with one area intergrown with translucent white barite. The manganite crystals are striated, prismatic form with flat, pinacoid terminations. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6x3x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 2-12 mm.
Price: $350 (plus shipping).
