Location of mineral deposit: N'Chwaning Mine, Kuruman District, Northern Cape Province, South Africa.
Description: Large single crystal of dark metallic hematite with a tapering complex crystal form mounted to acrylic display base (will remove). The crystal surfaces vary from lustrous to finely etched texture. Chipping and slight edge wear throughout.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 28x25x25 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 28 mm.
Price: $35 (plus shipping).
