Minerals Species: Fluorite.
Location of mineral deposit: Cave-in-Rock District, Hardin County, Illinois.
Description: Two interconnected portions of cubic fluorite crystals that grew from common fluorite base. The fluorite is translucent yellow with purple patches in the outermost zones. The crystal edges show minor chipping and wear.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 5x3.5x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 25-35 mm.
Price: $40 (plus shipping).
