Minerals Species: Pyrite with Talc.
Location of mineral deposit: ZCA Mine, West Pierrepont, St. Lawrence County, New York.
Description: Crystallized mass of metallic pyrite intermixed with white talc. The pyrite crystals are all in parallel orientation and reflect light simultaneously. The crystals are both pyritohedral and cubic form. All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 4.5x3.5x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-6 mm.
Price: $26 (plus shipping).
