Minerals Species: Celestine.
Location of mineral deposit: Ottawa Silica Company Quarry, near Rockwood, Wayne County, Michigan.
Description: Glassy blue-gray celestine (celestite) crystals with no matrix attached. There are three distinct termination on the upper end, but all have common prism faces. The crystal faces are clean and in good condition, the outer edges show minor wear. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #4230; acquired in 1980 from Ron Bentley (1948-1995).
Overall size of mineral specimen: 4.5x2x0.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 30-40 mm.
Price: $22 (plus shipping).
