Minerals Species: Quartz var. Rose Quartz Crystals with Eosphorite.
Location of mineral deposit: Rose Quartz Locality, Plumbago Mountain, Oxford County, Maine.
Description: Transparent pink rose quartz crystals on white albite matrix with minor muscovite and lustrous, transparent brown eosphorite microcrystals. The pink color of the rose quartz is good. All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix. Collected in June 1969 by Clifford Earl Trebilcock (1920-2000).
Overall size of mineral specimen: 2.5x2x1.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 0.2-3.0 mm.
Price: $36 (plus shipping).
