Minerals Species: Calcite.
Location of mineral deposit: Cave-in-Rock District, Hardin County, Illinois.
Description: Two groups of elongated scalenohedral calcite crystals with translucent yellow color. A small brown sphalerite crystal in nestled in a crevice of one of the calcite groups. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 3.5x2.5x2 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-20 mm.
Price: $35 (plus shipping).
