Minerals Species: Analcime with Aegirine.
Location of mineral deposit: De-Mix Quarry, Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada.
Description: Large white analcime crystals with partial crystals of black aegirine and orange serandite embedded in the surface of the analcime. The analcime faces are smooth and lustrous All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #1379; ex. Geoff Palin #268.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6.5x5.5x4.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 10-45 mm.
Price: $40 (plus shipping).
