Minerals Species: Apophyllite-(KF).
Location of mineral deposit: Millington Quarry, Millington, Somerset County, New Jersey.
Description: Rare specimen of pink apophyllite from Millington, with lustrous translucent apophyllite crystals with glassy crystal faces. Pink apophyllite is commonly found at Millington, but fades to colorless after drying. This specimen is still distinctly pink. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6x5x5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 5-20 mm.
Price: $150 (plus shipping).
