Minerals Species: Ilmenite (twinned crystals).
Location of mineral deposit: Faraday Mine Property, near Bentley Lake, Bancroft, Ontario, Canada.
Description: Silver-metallic ilmenite crystals on brown-pink calcite matrix. One pair of ilmenite crystals are twinned on the C-axis and show prominent reentrant faces at the twin plane. A small wedge of styrofoam is attached on the bottom so it sits upright. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6x5x4 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 2-25 mm.
Price: $85 (plus shipping).
