Minerals Species: Andradite Garnet.
Location of mineral deposit: Marmoraton Iron Mine, Marmora, Ontario, Canada.
Description: Dark iron-rich andradite garnet crystals with classic trapezohedral crystal form and slightly striated crystal faces. All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #7985; ex. National Museum of Canada in 1988.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 4.5x3x2.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 3-13 mm.
Price: $42 (plus shipping).
