Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 41127:

Minerals Species: Azurite and Malachite.
Location of mineral deposit: Milpillas Mine, Sonora, Mexico.
Description: Highly lustrous deep blue azurite crystals from the new find discovered in December 2007. When viewed from the bottom, it can be seen that fibrous green malachite has replaced the core of the azurite which may account for the bright blue color. No damage is visible to the unaided eye, minute edge chipping is visible under 20x magnification.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 20x15x12 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 2-14 mm.
Price: $95 (plus shipping).
