Minerals Species: Zincite* (crystals!) on Franklinite* with Willemite. (*From the TYPE LOCALITY where this mineral was first described.)
Location of mineral deposit: Franklin, Sussex County, New Jersey.
Description: Rare crystals of translucent red to red-brown zincite in small cavities in gray metallic franklinite with minor white willemite. The willemite fluoresces bright green under UV illumination. Several cavities have excellent zincite crystals. Ex. John Albanese, Jr..
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6x6x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 0.5 mm.
