Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 41164:

Minerals Species: Grossular Garnet.
Location of mineral deposit: Ramona, San Diego County, California.
Description: Lustrous cinnamon-brown grossular garnet crystals on massive grossular matrix. The grossular crystals are dodecahedral form with trapezohedral edge faces. Though no mine was listed on the old label, it is likely this came from the McFall Mine. The crystal faces are clean and in good condition, the outer edges show minor wear. Ex. Ned Blandford, originally acquired in 1951 from Clarence Jenni (1896-1973).
Overall size of mineral specimen: 5x5x4.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 4-15 mm.
Price: $45 (plus shipping).
