Minerals Species: Datolite pseudomorph after Anhydrite.
Location of mineral deposit: Millington Quarry, Millington, Somerset County, New Jersey.
Description: Slender formation of translucent green datolite pseudomorph after a 4 cm anhydrite crystal. Note the larger shape at the end, locally known as a snakehead pseudomorph. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 53x13x5 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-2 mm.
Price: $40 (plus shipping).
