Minerals Species: Malachite pseudomorphs after Azurite with Cerussite.
Location of mineral deposit: Tsumeb Mine, Otavi-Bergland District, Oshikoto, Namibia.
Description: Fibrous green malachite pseudomorphs after chisel-shaped azurite crystals up to 25 mm long with scattered colorless cerussite crystals up to 7 mm long (one cerussite has a flattened shape where it is contacted). The pseudomorphs are large and distinct. All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #8352, originally acquired in 1995 from M. Springs.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x4x4.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-25 mm.
Price: $175 (plus shipping).
