Minerals Species: Smithsonite.
Location of mineral deposit: Kelly Mine, Magdalena District, Socorro County, New Mexico.
Description: Large specimen of translucent smithsonite with classic blue-green color known as Kelly Blue for this famous mine because of the rich color. The surface of the smithsonite has not been altered or acid-etched and shows individual crystal faces throughout. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 13.5x7.5x4 cm.
Size of individual crystals: layers 4-10 mm thick.
Price: $1850 net (plus shipping).
