Minerals Species: Sperrylite.
Location of mineral deposit: Vermillion Mine, Denison Township, Sudbury District, Ontario, Canada. (*From the TYPE LOCALITY where this mineral was first described.)
Description: Brilliant metallic sperrylite crystal on sulfide ore. The sperrylite crystal is cubic form, with octahedral corner faces. Looks beautiful under magnification, but the crystal is visible with unaided eye. No damage. Collected by Bill Plavac.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 4x2x2 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 0.6 mm.
Price: $85 (plus shipping).
