Minerals Species: Mimetite and Wulfenite.
Location of mineral deposit: San Francisco Mine, Cerro Prieto, north of Cucurpe, Sonora, Mexico.
Description: Translucent yellow mimetite microcrystals coating matrix with transparent yellow wulfenite crystals to 4 mm. Looks beautiful under magnification. For more information see article: Famous Mineral Localities - San Francisco Mine in Min Rec. v.35, #6, p.41. No damage is visible to the unaided eye, minute edge chipping is visible under 20x magnification.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 4x2.5x1.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 4 mm.
