Minerals Species: Wulfenite with Mimetite.
Location of mineral deposit: San Francisco Mine, Cerro Prieto, north of Cucurpe, Sonora, Mexico.
Description: Transparent yellow bladed wulfenite crystals up to 10 mm with translucent yellow mimetite microcrystals. Looks beautiful under magnification. For more information see article: Famous Mineral Localities - San Francisco Mine in Min Rec. v.35, #6, p.41. Most of the crystals are complete and undamaged, but a few around the periphery are incomplete.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6x3.5x2.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 10 mm.
