Minerals Species: Wulfenite with Mimetite.
Location of mineral deposit: San Francisco Mine, Cerro Prieto, north of Cucurpe, Sonora, Mexico.
Description: Transparent yellow bladed wulfenite crystals up to 7 mm with translucent orange mimetite in spherical crystal aggregates up to 1.5 mm diameter. For more information see article: Famous Mineral Localities - San Francisco Mine in Min Rec. v.35, #6, p.41. All crystals present are complete and undamaged, but there is evidence among the many crystals that a few are missing.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 4x3.5x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: micro to 7 mm.
