Minerals Species: Beryl var. Aquamarine.
Location of mineral deposit: Erongo Mountains, 20 km north of Usakos, Namibia.
Description: Glassy blue crystal of transparent aquamarine, the blue gem variety of the mineral species beryl. The crystal has clean crystal faces, complex termination, and classic Erongo-blue color. The bottom rear corner is incomplete. No damage is visible to the unaided eye, minute edge chipping is visible under 20x magnification.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 27x15x12 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 27 mm.
Price: $175 (plus shipping).
