Minerals Species: Beryl var. Aquamarine.
Location of mineral deposit: Erongo Mountains, 20 km north of Usakos, Namibia.
Description: Glassy blue crystal of transparent aquamarine, the blue gem variety of the mineral species beryl. The crystal has clean crystal faces, complex termination, and classic Erongo-blue color that is unmatched from other localities. The crystal faces are clean and in good condition, the outer edges show minor wear.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 28x19x16 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 28 mm.
Price: $175 (plus shipping).
