Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 41529:

Minerals Species: Andradite Garnet with Molybdenite.
Location of mineral deposit: M.G.L. Tungsten Mine, Nightingale District, Pershing County, Nevada.
Description: Lustrous dark-brown andradite garnet crystals up to 12 mm with a single bright metallic molybdenite crystal 3 mm across in milky quartz matrix. The andradite crystals are dodecahedral with trapezohedral edge faces. All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix. Ex. Ned Reynolds (1923 - 2005), collected in 1951.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 4x4x2.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 3-12 mm.
