Minerals Species: Dravite Tourmaline with Phlogopite.
Location of mineral deposit: Yinnietharra Station, Pilbara, Western Australia, Australia.
Description: Two interconnected parallel dravite crystals with remnants of phlogopite mica matrix in the crevices throughout the specimen. The dravite tourmaline is translucent brown with smooth faces that are pockmarked where it is intergrown with phlogopite. The crystal faces are clean and in good condition, the outer edges show minor wear.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 4x3.5x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 4 cm.
Price: $28 (plus shipping).
