Minerals Species: Gypsum var. Selenite.
Location of mineral deposit: Great Salt Plains, neat Jet, Alfalfa County, Oklahoma.
Description: Transparent gypsum crystals with brick-red inclusions of limonitic sand-clay. On one side the broad crystal faces allow seeing the layered internal structure of the inclusions. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 7.5x4x1.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 5-65 mm.
