Minerals Species: Barite.
Location of mineral deposit: Northumberland Mine, Nye County, Nevada.
Description: Heavy cluster of thick translucent blue-gray rhombohedral barite crystals with minor limonite staining in areas. The barite crystals have glassy crystal faces and intersect each other resulting in few complete crystals. The crystal edges show minor chipping and wear.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x6x5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 2-5 cm.
Price: $30 (plus shipping).
