Minerals Species: Microcline with Arfvedsonite.
Location of mineral deposit: Hurricane Mountain, North Conway, Carroll County, New Hampshire.
Description: Blocky tan-colored microcline crystals with a single black arfvedsonite partial crystal exposed on one face. Extracting terminated arfvedsonite crystals on matrix is nearly impossible at this old locality.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x6x5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 6-60 mm.
Price: $48 (plus shipping).
