Minerals Species: Ilvaite and Quartz.
Location of mineral deposit: Second Sovietisky Mine, Dalnegorsk, Primorskij Kraj, Russia.
Description: Lustrous prismatic black ilvaite crystals up to 24 mm long intermixed with lustrous translucent gray quartz crystals up to 10 mm long. Many smaller needle-like ilvaite crystals are scattered throughout. Matrix specimens of ilvaite are uncommon. Most crystals are complete and undamaged, but a few crystals are incomplete. Ex. Robert C. Lambert #538; ex. Viktor Nikifrov collection.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 10.5x7x5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 5-24 mm.
Price: $450 net (plus shipping).
