Minerals Species: Quartz var. Japan-law Twin.
Location of mineral deposit: Pasto Bueno District, Pallasca Province, Ancash Department, Peru.
Description: Lustrous transparent colorless quartz crystals that are twinned following the Japan Law of quartz twinning. This twinned quartz has better luster than most from the locality that have frosted surfaces. One termination has a concave impression (contact?). Ex. Robert C. Lambert #123.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 8.5x5.5x1.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 5.5 cm.
Price: $550 net (plus shipping).
