Minerals Species: Apophyllite-(KF) (formerly Fluorapophyllite) on Stilbite.
Location of mineral deposit: Momin Akhada, near Rahuri, 50 km north of Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, India.
Description: Two adjacent radiating clusters 6 cm diameter of transparent green fluorapophyllite crystals up to 15 mm on white stilbite crystal-covered basalt. These radiating formations were discovered in 2002, see: Spectacular New Apophyllite in R. M. v.77 #2. No damage. Ex. Robert C. Lambert #500; ex. C. Graeber.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 9x7x7 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 5-15 mm.
Price: $850 net (plus shipping).
