Minerals Species: Dioptase.
Location of mineral deposit: Tsumeb Mine, Otavi-Bergland District, Oshikoto, Namibia.
Description: Lustrous emerald-green dioptase crystals in finger-like aggregates up to 20 mm high standing vertically off calcite-coated matrix. The dioptase crystals are transparent and have classic rich-green color that makes Tsumeb dioptase famous. No damage. Ex. Robert C. Lambert #230; ex. Zweibels in 1976.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x4x4 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-5 mm.
Price: $2750 net (plus shipping).
