Minerals Species: Diamond (1.22 carat yellow octahedral crystal).
Location of mineral deposit: Baken Mine, Northern Cape Province, South Africa.
Description: Transparent natural diamond crystal with textbook perfect octahedral crystals form with convex faces and complex crystallization patterns. Internally the diamond crystal is transparent with two sub-surface gletz on one face (hard to see). No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6.5x5x5 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 6.5 mm.
