Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 42827:

Minerals Species: Calcite var. Manganoan.
Location of mineral deposit: Erma Reka Mine, Zlatograd, Smolyan Oblast, Bulgaria.
Description: Large cluster of translucent pink calcite crystals that fluoresce orange under UV illumination. The calcite crystals are scalenohedral form with rhombohedral terminations. The pink color is due to manganese impurities (manganoan calcite). Though all crystals appear in good condition, upon close inspection, a few crystal terminations appear to be cleaved.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 20x14x9 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-5 cm.
Price: $400 net (plus shipping).
