Minerals Species: Fluorite.
Location of mineral deposit: Hill-Ledford Mine, Cave-in-Rock District, Hardin County, Illinois.
Description: Veryl large cluster of dark purple fluorite crystals, typical of the Hill-Ledford Mine. The fluorite crystals are cubic form with surfaces composed of smaller, parallel cubic crystal faces giving a textured appearance. Though the crystals are clean and in good condition, a few edges show minute nicks upon close inspection, but they are minor compared to the relative size of the specimen.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 28x13x11 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 15-65 mm.
Price: $750 net (plus shipping).
