Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 43558:

Minerals Species: Fluorite with Calcite.
Location of mineral deposit: Rosiclare Sub-District, Hardin County, Illinois.
Description: Very large cluster of translucent purple cubic fluorite crystals up to 14 cm with surfaces partially covered with scalenohedral colorless calcite crystals up to 12 mm long. The fluorite crystals intersected adjacent crystals around the perimeter. Scattered damage to the crystal edges throughout.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 17x14x15 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 5-140 mm.
Price: $450 net (plus shipping).
