Minerals Species: Beryl var. Aquamarine.
Location of mineral deposit: Erongo Mountains, 20 km north of Usakos, Namibia.
Description: Single crystal of aquamarine, the blue gem variety of the mineral species beryl, with schorl tourmaline, albite and quartz crystals on the rear faces. The aquamarine crystal is hexagonal form with pinacoid termination modified by secondary edge faces. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 35x24x23 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 35 mm.
Price: $325 (plus shipping).
