Minerals Species: Microcline var. Amazonite with Smoky Quartz.
Location of mineral deposit: Blue Smoky Mine, Bubble Pocket, Florrisant, Teller County, Colorado.
Description: Blue-green amazonite crystals, the lead-rich variety of the mineral species microcline, up to 65 mm long with transparent light-smoky quartz crystals up to 55 mm long. The cluster is complete all around, though one amazonite crystal was repaired. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 8.5x7.5x5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 30-65 mm.
Price: $975 net (plus shipping).
