Minerals Species: Topaz on rhyolite.
Location of mineral deposit: Topaz Mountain, Thomas Range, Juab County, Utah.
Description: Two pristine crystals of flawless golden sherry-colored topaz nestled in a small cavity in gray rhyolite. Matrix specimens of topaz from this site are rare because the topaz commonly cleaves during extraction of the specimen. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 8x6x6 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 10-12 mm.
Price: $150 (plus shipping).
