Minerals Species: Quartz var. Laguna Agate.
Location of mineral deposit: Ojo Laguna, Ahumada, Chihuahua, Mexico.
Description: Half of a Laguna Agate nodule with the sawn face polished to highlight the red to brown to pink internal banding. There are no cracks that are common in low-grade Laguna Agates. Note the unusual bright red feather-like inclusions on the left edge. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 7.5x6x4 cm.
Size of individual crystals: n/a
