Minerals Species: Quartz var. Faden-habit.
Location of mineral deposit: Dara Ismael Khan District, Waziristan, Pakistan.
Description: Faden-habit quartz: doubly-terminated colorless quartz crystals that grew out from a milky center seed zone, known as the sucre (sugar). All surfaces are fully crystallized except a small attachment point on the bottom. The termination of the crystal is chipped.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 62x17x8 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 5-50 mm.
Price: $32 (plus shipping).
