Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 46818:

Minerals Species: Pyrite and Enargite.
Location of mineral deposit: Butte Mining District, Summit Valley, Silver Bow County, Montana.
Description: Large lustrous yellow-metallic pyrite crystals to 16 mm across surrounded by dark-metallic prismatic enargite crystals to 4 mm long. The previous label list pyritohedral and diploid crystal forms of pyrite, but there are octahedral faces. Though the crystals are clean and in good condition, a few show damage upon close inspection, but they are minor compared to the relative size of the specimen. From my personal collection; ex. Karl Vossbrinck.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 5.5x4x4 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-16 mm.
Price: $95 (plus shipping).
